Who should apply to the Emerging Leaders Internship program?

The Emerging Leaders Internship program is a paid summer internship for students who are currently in their 3^rd or 4^th year in a bachelor's program that are interested in future full-time opportunities at American Signature. Students who identify with a group that is historically underrepresented in the workforce, including but not limited to Black, Hispanic, Native American, and female students are encouraged to apply. We are committed to building the leaders of tomorrow.

What is the scope of the program?

The program lasts for 9 weeks and includes core functional work, special projects, and leadership development. Our program’s goal is to attract and prepare these students for future opportunities within our organization

What kinds of training opportunities are available within the program?

Outside of core project work, interns have the opportunity to take advantage of the learning and development programs American Signature offers. We encourage interns to invest in themselves and grow their personal and professional skills. Through our internship program, we offer a professional development series, leadership speaker series, and community building activities to connect with team members all over the company. 

Marketing Intern

At American Signature Inc. (ASI), we believe everyone has the right to a well-furnished life. Every day, our customers embark upon their personal style journey—an adventure. To that purpose, we are committed to providing our customers with an easy and fun furniture shopping experience. For a lot of customers, this experience starts and ends on social media. The Marketing Intern is responsible for various day to day operations that support ASI’s social strategy. This position reports to the Media Team Intern Sponsor.

The Marketing internship is an introduction to marketing at American Signature. The intern will be immersed in the day-to-day business needs of the Marketing department. Key responsibilities include supporting the development of high-visibility executive presentations, partnering with cross-functions teams to gather and/or disseminate information, and ensuring department projects and initiatives are tracking to successful completion. The internship also includes store visits, studio shoots, and interactions with key external partners.

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

•          Self-Identifies as a member of a historically underrepresented group including but not limited to Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Women
•          Working towards Bachelors degree in Marketing, Retail, Business or related field
•          3.0 GPA or higher
