Delivery Helper

The Delivery Helper is a key team member assisting the Delivery Driver to meet that goal. The Delivery Helper is responsible for executing a satisfying delivery experience in our customers' homes.  They are the last touch point our customers have with the company, which directly impacts our business.  

Some of the functions the Delivery Helper will perform:

  • Embodies our values: Adventure Guides, Serve Others and Own It
  • Assembles and places our furniture in our customers’ homes with the utmost care
  • Contacts customers regarding their delivery
  • Partners with Delivery Driver in resolving issues with customers in their homes
  • Drives customer loyalty, as the last point of contact with our customers
  • Acts in a professional and courteous manner at all times, representing the company in a positive light

The ideal candidate will have, among other skills and abilities:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Willing to submit to physical capability test
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines
  • Clean motor vehicle record
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Willing to work at least 45 hours a week
  • Proven record of delivering great customer service
  • Can perform continuous lifting and maneuvering of heavy furniture
  • Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members
  • Track record of serving others and putting team goals first
  • Owners mindset; takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility
  • Embody an adventure guide; passion for the business, bringing curiosity and innovation to the job
  • Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems
  • Adaptability; flexible to shifting priorities and a changing environment
  • Desire to continuously improve
