The Warehouse Manager is responsible for people development and the overall warehouse and delivery operations. This role has a broad range of responsibility in store operations and reports directly to the Assistant Manager.

What your day will look like:

- Assists in the hiring, training and retaining of high-quality team members who exhibit our values
- Partners with Assistant Manager to ensure a deep talent bench by continuously developing internal talent and attracting external talent
- Leads warehouse team to ensure highest level of customer service standards are executed in home deliveries
- Provides feedback and innovative ideas to supervisor on building a more profitable warehouse operation
- Ensures proper execution of best practices related to delivery preparation and process
- Assists in managing warehouse payroll within budgeted guidelines
- Oversees unloading/loading of inbound and outbound merchandise
- Increases completion of home delivery rate by utilizing best practices
What will help you succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of warehouse, delivery, or distribution leadership experience
- Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and team members
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain best in class talent
- Proficient in business related technology systems
- Track record of servant leadership; serving others and putting team goals first
- Owners’ mindset: takes ownership over everything within scope of responsibility while still empowering others to do the same
