Divisional Director

Our company now includes more than 120  family-owned and operated stores.  As a Divisional Director you are a part of this family and critical to our success. This role is responsible for talent, operations, customer/brand experience and overall profitability in a division that consists of multiple markets. This person is a leader and coach, and a champion of our culture and values. The Divisional Director reports directly to the Vice President of Sales.

What your day will look like:

Develops and leads a team of Market Leaders providing leadership, direction and continued coaching and feedback

Drives a high-performance culture that achieves results

Owns the results of the Division’s P&L, driving sales while managing the bottom line

Collaborates with cross functional partners to build the annual sales and profit budget

Analyzes results and proposes plans to achieve targets and ensure continuous improvement of business objectives

Executes plans and delivers results against the company’s long-term strategy

Inspires and motivates teams on the company’s Game Plan

Ensures the execution of the merchandising experience throughout the Division

Oversees the implementation and continued execution of all selling and delivery initiatives

Holds teams accountable to operational standards

Monitors the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues and risks, recommend strategies and tactics for current and future stores

Works closely with cross-functional partners to execute plans, remove obstacles and provide resources to support stores

 

 

Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

3+ years of multi-unit retail leadership experience

Ability to read and interpret documents including profit and loss statements

Ability to write reports and correspondence

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and team members

Ability to effectively prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced sales environment

Proven experience in strategic and organizational development, including the ability to attract, develop and retain best in class talent across a multi-unit environment

Proficient using business related technology systems

Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

Adaptability; flexible to changing market forces and shifting priorities

Experience managing change in large and complex environments

Ability to break down complex ideas and communicate them in simple and easy to understand ways

Demonstrated ability to coach and develop others to higher levels of performance in a remote work environment
