The Associate Financial Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Finance team by preparing and delivering consistent and accurate financial reports, analyzing data, and assisting in the budgeting and forecasting processes.

Some of the capabilities the Associate Financial Analyst will possess:
· Baseline knowledge of Finance principles, including a foundational understanding of financial statements and key metrics
· Ability to think critically and ask thoughtful questions to understand situations and uncover the root of issues
· Desire to learn and understand the operations of our business and our products
· Ability to read and interpret data, as well as understand what the metrics are measuring
· Collaboration and the ability to build relationships and trust with internal team members and cross-functional partners
Some of the functions the Financial Analyst will perform:
· Assist in reviewing, analyzing, and preparing financial close reports, accruals, statement preparations, and projections for subsets of the business.
· Support the annual financial and strategic plan process
· Develop, review and provide ad hoc analyses to support cross-functional teams
· Provide daily and weekly reporting on KPI’s to understand current business trends
· Utilize large-scale accounting, financial, and reporting systems
· Participate in process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Finance department
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
· Internship and/or up to 2 years of relevant experience preferred; retail experience a plus
· Strong PC skill proficiency, including Excel (e.g. pivot tables), and Power Point
· Familiarity with accounting and Access a plus
· Strong attention to detail and dedication to accuracy
· Highly self-motivated and curious
· Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
· Ability to flex and adapt to shifting priorities
